Documentary - How France's anti-separatism law is impacting hijabi women's careers

In August 2021, the French government passed the “Law for the Respect of Republican Principles”, stipulating that any association that promotes non-republican values can be dissolved. The law was created to preserve state neutrality and protect institutions that ban conspicuous religious symbols.

Since it was introduced, the law has been heavily criticised by many French citizens, including women who wear the Islamic veil, and feel that it limits their career opportunities.
